Takko

Industry: Fashion

Takko has offered authentic, trend-oriented fashion and accessories at fair prices since 1982. Takko satisfies the needs of modern women and offers clothing products for men, children and toddlers as well. With branches in 17 countries, Takko is one of the most successful fashion companies in Europe.

We empower your retail brand to achieve digital commerce success and to provide state-of-art shopping experiences for your customers worldwide.

For Takko, who did not have an online store until recently, the aim was to design and implement the entire online store based on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud. Also, as part of the project, all back-end and fulfillment processes had to be rebuilt to serve the online channel and successfully integrate it into the existing branch business.
Mobizcorp was responsible for the design and implementation of the online store and launched Takko within just four months. At www.takko.com, the complete product range was made available, first in Germany and then in the remaining planned countries.

All 1,850 Takko branches are interconnected in the company’s new online store. Customers can have their orders shipped to their home address or to a branch of their choice. Of course, products can also be returned to any of these branches.

In addition, Takko was one of the first Salesforce Commerce Cloud stores in the world to use an all-JavaScript controller technology. This helped significantly boost the store’s flexibility and speed.
After the successful launch, the new online store was accepted very well – with more than 3 million visitors in the first month alone. Even without any special marketing or campaigns, the number of orders in the first month exceeded 50,000, resulting in considerable growth.

Adaptation of the mobile channel was a great success as well, as 52% of all customers did their shopping from their smartphones and tablets. In the first half-year, the number of visitors, sales, and the average order value (AOV) increased significantly and exceeded the set targets.

With the ongoing support provided by Mobizcorp, Takko now offers its customers a Salesforce Commerce Cloud-based, integrated omnichannel shopping experience. Its customers can now do their shopping whenever and wherever they like – over the Internet, from their mobile devices or at the store.
